This month’s Legendary Lake Mills Weekend, organized by the Lake Mills Main Street Program, will feature a Think Spring theme. Businesses will be offering many different promotions and there will be presentations and entertainment opportunities as well. A raffle featuring a gardening basket donated by Watson Ace Hardware will take place at Water House Foods Café and Bakehouse, 110 E. Lake.

Gardening books on loan from the LD Fargo Library, will be available during the weekend at Water House Foods and The Wine Vineyard, 103 N. Main. Plan your garden while sipping wine or nibbling on a scone!

On Friday, there will be a Wine & Dine dinner at Water House Foods Café & Bakehouse featuring gourmet foods paired with wine. Reservations required, please call Water House Foods for details 920.945.0660. At 8:00 Carp’s Landing, 103 S. Main, will feature the music of Mister Breeze.

On Saturday March 6, there will be an Angle Fair at The Rose Gallery, 118 S. Main, from 10 am to 5 pm; at 11 am a presentation on ”What’s a CSA?” by  Fiedler’s Organic CSA  will be given at Water House Foods. The same presentation will be repeated at 1 pm at The Wine Vineyard.

And don’t miss the EMS Chili Supper Fundraiser & Auction from 3 to7pm and Bliss Power Yoga, 112 S. Main Suite B, will hold a workshop with special guest Wade Gotwals from 4 to 6pm. Conclude the day with Organic Wine Tasting at The Wine Vineyard from 5-7pm and live music with Frankie Lee at Tyranena Brewery and The Pulse from 9 until close at Carp’s Landing.

Different spring promotions can be found at Lake Street Emporium, Watson Ace Hardware, The Wine Vineyard, Water House Foods Café & Bakehouse, Lake Mills Jazzercise, The Rose Gallery and Bliss Power Yoga.

The Lake Mills Main Street Program will be organizing a Legendary Lake Mills Weekend the first weekend of each month (next month it will be the second weekend due to Easter). The purpose of the weekends is to promote Lake Mills as a unique destination. Details of each weekend are still being worked out. Tickets are $10 for the show, with dinner available for an additional $13 (dinner includes a choice of two great gourmet sandwiches, delicious dessert and drink.

Tickets are available at the Bakehouse, The Wine Vineyard and Countryside Jewelry. Seating is very limited, it is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance.
