The Lake Mills Main Street Program is presenting a free concert featuring Lake Mills own “Main Street Big Band” on Friday, August 6. The show will be held at the gazebo downtown in Commons Park from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy the music under the stars.
The “Main Street Big Band,” lead by Harold Van Ommeren, is an 18 piece big band that plays jazz, rock, pop, blues, swing and bebop. Since 2003 the band has played all over south-eastern Wisconsin, including the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee and the Walworth County Fair. For more information go to www.MainStreetBigBand.com.
