What a way to go! It’s the Death by Chocolate baking contest, demos and more. For kids and adults! Items to be auctioned after the contest. Seasonal Cooking Demo – this month our featured chef is Shawn Rediske from Water House Foods. If you want to know the secrets and hard work that goes into each loaf of Water House Foods bread, then join us at 6:00pm  at the Lake Mills Farmers’  Market, at the WHF booth, for a bread demo. Learn about the four ingredients, the steps in bread-making, and the science of the whole process. Try your hand at kneading and shaping loaves and then sample your way through the many varieties that WHF produces. Come play in the flour!

Besides the usual great vendors, Lake Mills Main Street Program Farmers’ Market, will feature a seasonal cooking demo on Wednesday, June 10. The demonstration will be in the gazebo in Common’s Park. Chef Greg Carpenter, owner of Carp’s Landing in Lake Mills will be the featured presenter. 

Greg CarpenterOriginally from Lake Mills, Carpenter has worked in the restaurant business for over 25 years, locally and in many other areas of the US. Known for his in-house smoked items at Carp’s Landing, Carpenter brings the flavors of Arizona, Hawaii, Colorado, Florida and Alaska to his dishes.

The Farmers’ Market will feature a seasonal cooking demonstration the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm through the end of the market in October.
