9am to 3pm in Common Park will be over 130 vendors selling pumpkins, gourds,
mums, crafts, artwork, jewelry, games for kids, facepainting and so much more. A
Large varity of food vendors can also be found in the park, all are non profit
organization from the area. This event is a great community event for all ages.

Collectors from across the U.S. will gather in Lake Mills on June 24-25 for the 4th annual convention of the Ephraim Faience Pottery Collectors Society. Events will be held at the Community Center as well as at the Crowne Plaza East in Madison. On Tuesday, June 1 at 6:00 PM the Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills will hold its monthly meeting at Water House Foods on Main Street in downtown Lake Mills.   In addition to reporting on events and the state of the organization, a video presentation from Art:21 Season Five will be shown providing access to the artists who create the art of our time. Season Five, a Peabody Award winning documentary, presents internationally renowned artists at work and speaking in their own words as they create art. Art:21 allows viewers to experience first-hand the complex processes behind some of today’s most intriguing and thought-provoking art.

The Arts Alliance of Greater Lake Mills is hosting a summer series to highlight local artists in our shop this month. We are so excited to have Karen Ragus and Leslie Demuth at our shop for August. Join us to view and celebrate these artists at the opening reception friday august 7, from 5-7pm at our store with music, wine, and food.

Who would you like to toss a rotten vegetable at? Email your vote to jill@lakemillsmainstreet.org, top vote getters will have the honor of having their face pasted on a great vegetable body and people can purchase rotten vegetable to toss at them!

But there’s more! Are you growing a huge vegetable in your garden? Then you need to enter it in our Big Veg Contest. We have four catagories: Pumpkin (weight), Squash (length), Tomato (weight) and most unusual (judges choice). Or how about a cool all vegetable or fruit sculpture? Adult & kids categories, toothpicks or skewers for construction only.

After he contest winners are announce there will be a flower arranging demo put on by Dutch Designs!
